Summer brings with it plenty of sunshine and while some may opt for a trip to the beach for tan or sunbathing, pop concerts from the act we all adore and love hit the lovely city of Chicago, Illinois in the warm weather to give their fans a memorable experience. When famous artists in the music industry come to town, the people come out in force to support some of the favorite acts. Below are some of the upcoming pop shows that will spark some attention in 2018.

Ed Sheeran

In the pop world, names do not come any bigger than Edward Christopher Sheeran or Ed Sheeran for short. He is an English songwriter, singer, actor and record producer. He has three hugely successfully album under his belt and his latest album,÷ has got some crossover hits like “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill”. He will be performing at Soldier Field at the begging of October. Tickets for this show will surely be sold out in no time and it is advised to get one as early as possible.

Christian Aguilera

Events in October would not be complete without a performance from one of the biggest artists in pop music. Songwriter and television personality Christian Aguilera has been famous since the early 90s thanks to hits like “Genie in a Bottle”, “Come on over Baby (All I want is you) and “What a girl wants” from her debut album. In the middle of October, she will be at the Chicago theatre with more show expected sometime in 2019.

John Charles Waite

English singer John Charles Waite is best known for his work as the former lead vocalist for the Bad English and The Babys. When he went solo, he released “Missing You” in 1984 which peaked to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and a top 10 UK Singles Chart. Today, he still performs as much as he can and in October, he will hit the City Winery in Chicago.

Charlotte Lawrence

Daughter of TV producer Bill Lawrence and actress Christa Miller, she is a very talented singer who released her debut single way back in 2014 called “The Finish Line”. The following year she released her second single called “Ever After”. Beat Kitchen

Paula Cole

Singer-songwriter Paula Cole has a few top 10 hits under her name like her single “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” cracked the Billboard Hot 100 way back in 1997. She is a Grammy Award winner having picked one up in 1998 for Best New Artist. Dawson’s Creek was a very popular television show and her song “I Don’t Want to Wait” was used as the theme song of the show. She will be at the City Winery in the month of October as well.

Harry Styles

English singer-songwriter Harry Styles, who rose to fame as part of boy group One Direction, will be hitting the stage in Chicago, IL. Since One Direction has been on a hiatus since January 2016, Styles released his debut album and will perform songs off at the United Center.
